Dr. Deborah Cole serves as an Associate Professor in the Department of Languages, Literature and Communication at Utrecht University's Faculty of Humanities, conducting research through the Institute for Language Sciences with specialized focus on Language structure: variation and change. Her investigations into language variation and change are complemented by active translation work converting Bahasa Indonesia poetry to English, revealing practical applications of her theoretical research.
