Dr. Deborah Cohen is an Associate Professor of History and Latinx Studies at the University of Missouri-St. Louis (UMSL). Her research focuses on the intersections of migration, transnationalism, and social movements in the U.S. and Mexico, particularly through the lens of critical race, feminist, and postcolonial theories.

Research Interests: Cohen’s work examines historical and contemporary Mexican migration, the U.S.-Mexico border, and the 1968 Mexican student movement.
