Dr. Deborah Adey, MD, is a Clinical Professor of Medicine at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF), affiliated with the Connie Frank Transplant Center. With over 20 years of expertise in transplantation, her roles include transplant nephrology, medical education, and clinical trials. She holds leadership positions in the American Society of Transplantation (AST), including serving on committees such as the Accreditation Committee for transplant nephrology training and the Women’s Health Community of Practice. Her research focuses on infectious diseases in transplantation, anti-HLA antibodies, and BK nephropathy, with NIH co-PI roles in clinical trials. Awards include the 2015 AST Fellowship and 2010 American College of Physicians Fellowship.
