Debi Roberts

Debi Roberts is Senior Lecturer and Interim Head of Department for Digital, Tech, Innovation & Business at Staffordshire University. A Chartered Engineer and Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, she holds degrees in Aeronautical Design Technology and Automotive Engineering from Staffordshire.

Her research explores transport aerodynamics, engine systems, and the evolution of automotive technologies, with emerging focus on autonomous and connected vehicles. Roberts coordinates engineering projects across the department and leads modules in aerodynamics and transportation systems.

As part of the Boulton Paul Heritage Project team, she received the Queen's Award for Voluntary Service in 2012 for preserving aviation history.
