Debbie Munro is an Associate Professor in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Canterbury's Faculty of Engineering. Her career blends academia and industry, including former roles as Assistant Professor at the University of Portland and Visiting Professor at the University of the Pacific. She also founded Munro Medical to commercialize her patented wireless spinal fusion sensor.
