Dr. Debbie Gonzalez is an Assistant Professor and Bachelors Director at the Department of Social Work, Cal Poly Humboldt. She holds a DSW from St. Catherine's/St. Thomas University and an MSW from Chico State. Her research focuses on virtual simulations in education, trauma-informed pedagogy, and global social work collaboration. She teaches in both MSW and BASW programs, emphasizing advocacy and hope in practice.
