- Education:
- B.Tech in Chemical Engineering, 1998, Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Bombay
- Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering, 2003, University of Notre Dame
- Postdoctoral Fellow, 2003-2006, Department of Chemistry, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill
Research interests focus on microfluidic systems for sensitive immunoassays, hybrid electrokinetic/pressure-driven separation methods, evaporation-driven electrokinetic energy conversion devices, airborne pathogen quantitation techniques, and mathematical frameworks for solute dispersion. These projects integrate experimental studies, theoretical modeling, and simulation tools.
Recent publications highlight advancements in microelectrode fabrication, viral sampling platforms, zone broadening analysis, and pressure-driven flow integration. His group acknowledges research funding support from unspecified organizations.
