Deb MacKenzie is an Adjunct Professor in the Music Department at Ripon College, where she teaches piano and serves as the Faculty Advisor for Mu Phi Epsilon, an international music fraternity. She accompanies all college ensembles, juries, and recitals.

- Master of Music in Piano Performance and Pedagogy from the University of Wisconsin-Madison
Her teaching style emphasizes flexibility, and she takes pride in witnessing students' academic and creative growth. Outside academia, she worked as a nanny in New York City during her undergraduate years. She is married with four children, a son-in-law, and a grandson.
