Dr. Dearmi Artis serves as a Senior Lecturer and researcher at the Department of Economics and Development Studies, Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Jambi (UNJA), Indonesia.
His research expertise spans:
- International Trade Policy and global environmental linkages
- Operations of Indonesian firms in Central Asia
- Economic implications of Taiwan's New Southbound Policy for ASEAN nations
- Localized land use policies and deforestation dynamics
Since 2018, he has actively collaborated with Prof. Krisztina Kis-Katos in the CRC 990-EFForTS project, specifically contributing to Project Group C10 on palm oil conversion and environmental policy impacts in Indonesia.
