Deanna Beirne serves as the Senior Director of Research Computing and Technology Transfer at the Bernard M. Gordon Center for Subsurface Sensing and Imaging Systems (Gordon-CenSSIS) at Northeastern University. She oversees the design, development, and management of technology services and infrastructure for Gordon-CenSSIS and its associated centers and programs, including ALERT (a DHS Center of Excellence) and the Gordon Institute of Engineering Leadership.
Her role focuses on advancing research computing capabilities and facilitating technology transfer initiatives to support interdisciplinary scientific endeavors. She collaborates with academic and industry partners to enhance infrastructure critical for subsurface sensing, imaging systems, and engineering innovation.
