Dean Standish 'Stan' Perkins is an Adjunct Professor at Seattle University School of Law and founder of Dean Standish Perkins & Associates (established 1986). A 1985 graduate of University of Puget Sound Law School and 1982 UC Berkeley Political Science alumnus, he specializes in plaintiff personal injury litigation with over 3,000 resolved cases. His career includes notable honors like the APEX Award for Legal Innovation (2021).
Stan pioneered the Seattle University Law School Incubator Program in 2013, mentoring over 100 solo practitioners through annual cohorts (2015–2024). This initiative provides resources for new lawyers to launch practices with business acumen training and mentorship. He also teaches legal strategy courses at the law school.
