Dr Dean Picone is a Senior Research Fellow at the Sydney School of Health Sciences, University of Sydney, and holds an NHMRC Emerging Leader Level 1 Fellowship (2023-2027). He is also an Adjunct Senior Researcher at the University of Tasmania and chairs the New Investigator Committee of the International Society of Hypertension. His research focuses on improving cardiovascular health through accurate blood pressure measurement methods.
