DeWayne Pursley

Dr. DeWayne Pursley is Associate Professor of Pediatrics at Harvard Medical School and Chief of Neonatology at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. His NIH-funded research addresses NICU resource allocation, health equity, and racial disparities in infant outcomes. He chairs AAP committees on neonatal verification and antibiotic stewardship.

Pursley's publications establish standards for neonatal care levels and tele-mentoring systems. Awards include the HMS Harold Amos Faculty Diversity Award for mentoring excellence.
