Dawn Mooney

Dawn Mooney is a Part-Time Lecturer in the Department of Geography at the University of British Columbia's Faculty of Arts. She teaches cartography courses and works as a cartographer, geographer, and data visualizer at the UBC Centre for Health Services and Policy Research.

Research Interests:

Her research focuses on mapping variations in health status, health services use, health human resources, and prescription drug use across British Columbia and Canada. She is particularly interested in methods of effective graphical communication of health data and statistics, and in using mapping to explore, communicate, and address geographic disparities in health and health care.
