Dawit Demissie is a Clinical Professor and Director of the M.S. in Information Technology program in the Information, Technology, and Operations department at Fordham University's Gabelli School of Business. He joined Fordham in 2018 and is based at the Manhattan campus (45 Columbus Avenue).
His research spans Information Systems, E-Government, Cybersecurity, Ontology development, and Machine Learning applications in public policy. Recent publications demonstrate a focus on technology solutions for societal challenges in developing regions, particularly Africa.
