Davide Maiorca is a Senior Assistant Professor (RTD-B) of Computer Engineering at the University of Cagliari, Italy. He leads research in cybersecurity, specializing in malware detection, adversarial machine learning, and digital forensics. His work focuses on analyzing X86 and Android malware, malicious documents (e.g., PDF, Office files), and the robustness of AI-driven security tools.
He holds a Master of Science in Electronic Engineering (2012, 110/110 cum laude) and a Ph.D. in Electronic Engineering and Computer Science (2016), both from the University of Cagliari.
