معرفی
Davide Caporale is a pre-doctoral researcher at CIC energiGUNE, focusing on thermal energy storage. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Clinical Engineering (2019) and a Master’s Degree in Nanotechnology Engineering (2022) from Sapienza University of Rome.
- Education: B.Sc. in Clinical Engineering (Sapienza University of Rome, 2019), M.Sc. in Nanotechnology Engineering (Sapienza University of Rome, 2022).
His research interests span nanomaterials for energy storage, energy conversion, micro-nano fluidic and atomistic simulations, plasmonic biosensors, and optical cavity microscopy. At CIC energiGUNE, he investigates physicochemical phenomena in nanoporous materials with non-wetting liquids for thermal energy storage applications.
Prior to his current role, he worked in the molecular photonics laboratory of Prof. Francesco Michelotti at Sapienza University, optimizing Bloch Surface wave-based breast cancer biomarker detection techniques. He also contributed to the MICOLET project as a junior researcher in collaboration with the Italian Institute of Technology, developing an optical cavity microscope for terahertz diagnosis of deep skin injuries.
