Davide Campagna is a Fixed-term Assistant Professor (RTDB) and Researcher in Internal Medicine at the University of Catania's Department of Clinical and Molecular Biomedicine. He works at the AOU Policlinico 'G. Rodolico – San Marco' emergency room in Catania, Italy.
- Research Focus: Tobacco harm reduction, diabetes, cardiovascular complications, metabolic syndrome, emergency medicine, time-dependent pathologies, POCUS, and NIV
- Projects: Conductor of ECLAT (first global e-cigarette study), Co-conductor of Ubiopred multicenter asthma study, Co-PI of Diasmoke (smoking and diabetes research)
He serves as thesis tutor for Medicine/Surgery and Nursing programs, and as practical exam tutor for Medical Semiotics. Active in clinical research since 2010 with ECLAT project funding, he also participates in international collaborations and journal peer-review.
