Davide Calonico

Davide Calonico is a Senior Tutor at the Department of Applied Science and Technology (DISAT) of the Polytechnic University of Turin, affiliated with the College of Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications, and Physics. He specializes in quantum technologies, precision metrology, and optical atomic clock research, contributing to international timekeeping standards and quantum sensing applications.

His research focuses on:

• Quantum timekeeping and frequency standards
• Optical clock synchronization via fiber and satellite
• Quantum sensing using submarine cables and interferometry
• Geodesy and transnational metrology networks
