Davide Bavato

Davide Bavato serves as a Research Fellow at École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) within the College of Management of Technology (CDM), specifically affiliated with the Institute of Management of Technology and Entrepreneurship (MTEI) and the Chair of Entrepreneurship and Technology Commercialization (ENTC). He concurrently holds a Lecturer position for Technology Ventures courses and participates in the CDM College Council as an intermediate body member.

His research and teaching focus on the practical application of entrepreneurship in technology commercialization. Through Technology Ventures I and II courses, he guides students in developing startup concepts, identifying viable markets, designing scalable business models, and formulating effective market-entry strategies. This work bridges academic research with real-world venture creation, emphasizing the translation of technological innovations into sustainable businesses.

Dr. Bavato operates within the ENTC research environment dedicated to advancing entrepreneurship education and technology transfer. His dual role enables direct integration of research insights into classroom practice, where students engage in hands-on startup development under his instruction. The Odyssea building (ODY 3 17) hosts his primary research activities at EPFL's Station 5 campus in Lausanne.
