Davida Crossley

Dr. Davida Crossley holds the position of Associate Professor of Microbiology at the Mississippi University for Women (MUW), affiliated with the College of Arts & Sciences and the Department of Microbiology. She joined MUW in 2020. Her educational background includes a B.S. and Ph.D. in Microbiology from the University of Southern Mississippi.

Her research focuses on gene regulation, dimorphism in fungi, and pathogenesis mechanisms. She teaches courses such as General Microbiology, Microbiology for Majors, and Research Methods. Dr. Crossley also advises students in Biology and contributes to interdisciplinary programs like Biology II (SEA-PHAGES II).
