David White

Professor David White holds a fractional role at the University of Western Australia (UWA) as the Shell EMI Professor of Offshore Geotechnics, alongside his primary role as Professor of Infrastructure Geotechnics at the University of Southampton, UK. He is affiliated with UWA’s Oceans Institute and the School of Earth and Oceans. His research focuses on offshore geotechnics, submarine geohazards, and advanced geotechnical testing techniques.

• Education: BA, MEng (1998), and PhD (2002) from the University of Cambridge.
