David Volpe is a Lecturer in Film Music at the Conservatory of Music, College of Performing Arts, Chapman University. A Los Angeles-based composer, he specializes in scores for films (features like The Shift and Golden Christmas 2), media, and the concert hall. His work extends to orchestrating for composers Heitor Perreira and Kris Bowers, and he has earned recognition for choral arrangements commissioned by LGBT choruses nationwide, including the Gay Men’s Chorus of Los Angeles and Turtle Creek Chorale.
