Dr. David Tunnicliffe is a Senior Research Fellow at the Sydney School of Public Health, The University of Sydney, based at the Centre for Kidney Research at The Children's Hospital at Westmead. He holds a PhD in medicine from the same university (2018). His research focuses on evidence synthesis, systematic reviews, and improving methods for clinical practice guidelines in kidney disease. He serves as Scientific Director of the CARI Guidelines (Australian/New Zealand clinical practice guidelines) and leads efforts in Cochrane Kidney and Transplant. Key roles include advancing living guidelines and addressing disparities in kidney care for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders. Dr. Tunnicliffe also contributes to teaching, including coordinating the CEPI 5315 Introduction to Systematic Review unit in the Master of Clinical Epidemiology program.
