David T. Lau is a Professor in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Carleton University, Canada. He holds B.Eng. (McMaster), M.Sc. and Ph.D. (University of California, Berkeley) degrees, and is a registered Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) and Fellow of the Canadian Society for Civil Engineering (F.C.S.C.E.).
