David St. John is a University Professor and Professor of English and Comparative Literature at the University of Southern California. He holds the Elliston Chair in Poetry and has been recognized with prestigious awards including the Rome Fellowship and the O. B. Hardison Prize for teaching and poetic achievement. His research focuses on poetry writing, cinema studies, and interdisciplinary collaborations between poets and composers.
Education: B.A. in English (Creative Writing) from California State University, Fresno; M.F.A. in Creative Writing from the University of Iowa.
