David Solomon

Dr. David Solomon is an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychology at Western Carolina University (WCU), affiliated with the College of Education and Allied Professions. He holds a Ph.D. from Central Michigan University, an M.A. from WCU, and a B.A. in Psychology and German from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. His research focuses on two primary areas: interpersonal trauma (e.g., child maltreatment, relationship violence) and LGBTQ+ issues. He teaches courses in research methods, multicultural psychology, prejudice, psychological assessment, and psychotherapy.
