Dr David Sloan is a Reader in the Department of Physics at Lancaster University. His research focuses on theoretical physics and cosmology, particularly on dynamical systems, scale symmetries, and singularity resolution in gravitational theories.
- Research Interests: Cosmology, quantum gravity, dynamical similarity, and inflationary models.
- Current Projects: "The Universe as an Open System" (2022-2024), "Lancaster-Manchester-Sheffield Consortium" (2020-2023), and FQXi-funded research (2019-2023).
