David Sibbritt is Professor and Head of School of Public Health at UTS, specializing in chronic disease epidemiology with over 350 publications. His research investigates self-management strategies for chronic conditions including stroke, diabetes, and cardiovascular disease.
Research examines health service utilization patterns, lifestyle interventions for secondary prevention, and integrative approaches to chronic condition management.

Leads the evaluation of Australia's National Diabetes Services Scheme and secured over $4.8 million in research funding. Supervised more than 30 PhD students to completion.
