David Rolnick is an Assistant Professor and Canada CIFAR AI Chair in the School of Computer Science at McGill University and Mila Quebec AI Institute. He serves as Co-founder and Chair of Climate Change AI and Scientific Co-director of Sustainability in the Digital Age.
His academic foundation includes a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from MIT, supported by prestigious fellowships including NSF Mathematical Sciences Postdoctoral Research Fellowship, NSF Graduate Research Fellowship, and Fulbright Scholarship.
Dr. Rolnick's research pioneers the application of artificial intelligence to climate crisis mitigation, integrating machine learning with environmental systems analysis.
