Dr. David Rabinowitsch serves as an Associate Professor in the School of Nursing at Felician University, located in Obal Hall, Room 302. His contact information includes phone 201.355.1141 and email rabinowitschd@felician.edu.
He earned his Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from Case Western University, Master of Science (MS) from Russell Sage College, Bachelor of Science (BS) from The University of the State of New York – Regents College, and Nursing Diploma from St. Vincent’s Hospital School of Nursing. His clinical expertise spans Holistic Nursing, Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing, and Community/Public Health.
Dr. Rabinowitsch's research focuses on defining holistic and integrative nursing frameworks, clinical healing methodologies, and innovative nurse education models. He has developed and taught international workshops on Healing Touch, Guided Imagery, and Cultural Caring Models, presenting at institutions including Universidad Europea de Valencia and the Third International Integrative Nursing Symposium.
His scholarly publications examine conceptual foundations of holistic nursing, clinical applications in healing practices, and accelerated educational pathways for nursing professionals. These works contribute to standardizing terminology and advancing evidence-based holistic care models within nursing practice.
He maintains professional credentials as an Advanced Board Certified Holistic Nurse, Certified Nurse Educator, and Wound Care Certified specialist, and previously served as President of the American Holistic Nursing Credentialing Corporation.
As an educator, Dr. Rabinowitsch developed the Nurse Scholar Residency Program enabling RN-to-BSN completion within one year while building clinical competence. He continues teaching Healing Touch workshops globally, including at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center and in Sweden.
His international collaborations with institutions in Spain, Ireland, and Sweden demonstrate commitment to advancing holistic nursing practices through cross-cultural exchange and global professional development initiatives.
