David Pulido Salas

Dr. David Pulido Salas (born 1992) is an Associate Professor in the Department of Pedagogy and Specific Didactics at the University of the Balearic Islands (UIB) since the 2018-2019 academic year. He also works as a civil servant primary education teacher for the Regional Ministry of Education and Vocational Training.

• Postgraduate DECA (Ecclesiastical Declaration of Academic Competence) (2016)
• PhD in Educational Sciences from UIB (2020) with thesis: "Parental behaviors and influences in grassroots football. Effects of a socio-educational intervention with parents"

His research focuses on analyzing socioeducational agents' behaviors in school-age sports (parents, coaches, players) through systematic observation and interventions. He collaborates with the Physical Activity and Sports Sciences Research Group (GICAFE) and contributes to the Balearic Government's "Posam Valors a l'Esport" project (06605), targeting values formation in youth sports stakeholders.

He has partnered with football, basketball, volleyball, and handball clubs in the Balearic Islands to implement educational programs and served as an observer/coder of parent-spectator behavior in regional school-age sports finals organized by the Directorate General of Sports.

Teaching roles include delivering Physical Education and its Didactics in the Degree in Primary Education in Mallorca (2020-2025), with prior teaching experience spanning five academic years.
