David Petersson serves as a Senior Lecturer at Lund University's Centre for Languages and Literature within the Joint Faculties of Humanities and Theology. He holds the administrative position of Manager of Research and Research Education specifically for Swedish as a Foreign Language.
His research focuses on Swedish syntax with particular expertise in clause structure and subordination phenomena. Dr. Petersson's work examines main clauses, subordinate structures, force elements, and yes/no question formation in Swedish. His research fingerprint reveals significant contributions to understanding verb movement and syntactic structure in the Swedish language.
