Dr. David Peitz is a Professor in the Department of Physical Sciences and Mathematics at Wayne State College. He advises the Health Science Club and serves as contact for the RHOP pharmacy program. Previously, he taught at Minot State University and worked as director of laboratory operations at Quality Management and Analytical Services Inc. He chaired the Nebraska Academy of Sciences (2013-14) and has been an American Chemical Society member since 1990.

Research & Teaching: Focuses on novel arene chromium complexes and chemical education. Teaches organic chemistry and general physical science courses. Active in presenting research at American Chemical Society regional meetings, Biennial Conference on Chemical Education, and Nebraska Academy of Sciences events.
