David Pascual Nicolás

David Pascual Nicolás is a Professor of Psychology at the Universidad Camilo José Cela (UCJC), based in the Faculty of Education and Health. He holds a PhD in Psychology from the Complutense University of Madrid (2016) and specializes in Clinical Psychology with a medical license. His academic career began at UCJC in 2006, where he has served as Director of the Primary and Infant Education Degree, Coordinator of Postgraduate Programs, and member of research groups like Cognition, Emotion and Education (Social Sciences and Education Faculty) and the Institute for Sustainability (IS.UPC).

His research focuses on personality, cognitive processes, psychopathology, gender-based violence, and educational innovation. Notable areas include violence and child abuse linked to gender-based violence, neuropsychological implications of abuse, and sustainability competencies in education. He combines clinical and educational psychology, emphasizing teaching methodologies and learning processes.

Professionally, he teaches courses on child psychopathology, behavioral disorders, and research methods.
