David P. Shattuck

David P. Shattuck is Associate Professor in Electrical and Computer Engineering at University of Houston's Cullen College of Engineering, specializing in engineering education technology.

His research develops computer-based tools and textbooks for circuit analysis and electronics education. Contributions include co-authoring the 4th Edition of 'Electric Circuits' by Nilsson and creating an online Circuit Analysis textbook.

Teaching awards include: William A. Brookshire Teaching Excellence Award (2020), Distinguished Leadership in Teaching Excellence Award (2020), two Career Teaching Awards (2013, 2017), Distinguished Service Award (2013), and W.T. Kittinger Outstanding Teacher Award (2006).
