Dr. David P. Anderson is a Professor and Extension Specialist in Livestock and Food Product Marketing at Texas A&M University's Department of Agricultural Economics. His office is located in AGLS 330C, and he can be reached at (979) 393-0939. He holds a B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. in Agricultural Economics from the University of Arizona and Texas A&M University, respectively. His expertise spans livestock market dynamics and the economic impacts of agricultural policies on livestock, dairy, and crop sectors.
Before joining Texas A&M in 1996, he worked as a livestock economist at the Livestock Marketing Information Center in Denver. His achievements include prestigious awards such as the American Agricultural Economics Association’s Professional Excellence Award and collaborative recognition through Texas A&M’s Deputy Chancellor’s Distinguished Performance Team Award.
