David O'Mahony

David O'Mahony is Professor of Law and Criminology at the University of Essex's Essex Law School. He has held significant university leadership positions including Faculty of Arts and Humanities roles, Dean of Postgraduate Research and Education, and University Dean of Research Partnerships. As a governor of the Tavistock and Portman NHS Foundation Trust Hospital, he contributes to mental health governance frameworks.
