David Miller is an Assistant Professor at the University of Illinois at Chicago, directing the Psychology of Multilingualism research lab. His research focuses on language processing, second language acquisition, bilingualism, and the role of logic in language structure. He holds a PhD from the University of Reading, UK.

Research Interests: Explores cognitive mechanisms underlying multilingualism, including semantics-pragmatics interfaces, bilingual sentence processing, and the impact of logical reasoning on language use. Recent work examines ERP correlates of L2 morphosyntax processing and the foreign language effect on prosocial behavior.
