David Martinez

David Martinez is an Associate Professor of Spanish at George Fox University and Director of the Center for Study Abroad. He joined the university in 2017 after completing his PhD at the University of Georgia, where his dissertation focused on representations of Spain's transition to democracy (1969-1981). His academic work examines contemporary Spanish literature's role in challenging historical narratives.
