David M. Huebner is an Adjunct Associate Professor in the Department of Prevention and Community Health at George Washington University's Milken Institute of Public Health. He specializes in examining the health consequences of discrimination, particularly among LGBTQ+ populations and marginalized groups. His research focuses on mechanisms linking discrimination to mental and physical health disparities, including work funded by NIMH on LGB adolescents' experiences and a documentary film (Lead with Love) aimed at improving parental acceptance. He also investigates HIV prevention in gay and bisexual men.
