David Lyons is a Senior Lecturer at the University of New South Wales (UNSW), specializing in naval architecture and composite materials within the School of Engineering and Information Technology at UNSW Canberra at ADFA. With a career spanning academia, engineering consultancy, and legal technical expertise, he has developed the Naval Architecture program since 2020 and taught undergraduate engineering students. His professional background includes manufacturing engineering, composite material consultancy, and yacht design.
