David Loane

David Loane is an Adjunct Associate Professor in the Department of Anesthesiology at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. His research focuses on traumatic brain injury (TBI), neuroinflammation, and microglial activation mechanisms. He completed his PhD in Neuroscience at the University of Bristol and postdoctoral training at Georgetown University.

Research Interests:

• Investigates microglial/macrophage activation in TBI
• Studies signaling pathways for anti-inflammatory responses
• Examines age-related effects on neuroinflammatory dynamics
