David Leiva Ureña is an Associate Professor at the Universitat de Barcelona's Faculty of Psychology, affiliated with the Department of Social Psychology and Quantitative Psychology. He specializes in Quantitative Psychology and Methodology of Behavioral Sciences, leading the Psicologia Quantitativa research group and co-directing the 'Group for Innovation in Learning Statistics in Health'. His work focuses on statistical modeling, data science applications in behavioral research, and educational innovation.
Academic Background: Holds a Doctorate in Psychology (2009), Licenciado in Psychology (2004), and joint degree in Statistics from Universitat de Barcelona and UPC (2016). Completed a DEA (2006) and recent postgraduate training in Data Science (2018).
Research Interests: Includes statistical methods for behavioral research, psychometrics, network analysis in fMRI data, socio-economic impacts of pandemics, and motivational dynamics in academic/work contexts.
