David Horner is a Professor of Theology and Philosophy at Biola University's Talbot School of Theology. He previously taught at the University of Oxford and Denver Seminary, and held roles as Visiting Scholar and Research Associate at the University of Colorado's Department of Philosophy. His expertise spans ethics, ancient/medieval philosophy, and apologetics. He holds degrees from Oxford University (D.Phil., M.Phil.), Denver Seminary (M.A.), and Colorado State University (B.A.).
Research focuses on ethics, medieval philosophy, and theology of worship. Key publications include Mind Your Faith (2011) and Metaethics: A Short Companion (2024, co-authored with J.P. Moreland). His work integrates classical philosophy with contemporary moral challenges, emphasizing virtue ethics and apologetic engagement.
He serves as President of The Illuminatio Project, promoting biblical visions of goodness, truth, and beauty.
