David Heineman

David Heineman is a Professor in the Department of Communication Studies, Media and Journalism at Bloomsburg University's College of Liberal Arts, where his scholarship bridges rhetorical/critical theory and new media technologies through public-facing engagement.

His educational background includes a Ph.D. in Communication Studies from the University of Iowa (dissertation on hacktivism) and Master's/Bachelor's degrees from Syracuse University's Department of Communication and Rhetorical Studies.
