David Greenwell is an Assistant Professor of Accounting at the School of Business, Oklahoma Baptist University (OBU). With over four decades of public accounting experience, he teaches advanced accounting, auditing, forensic accounting, and tax courses, integrating a Biblical worldview into his pedagogy. He has served at OBU since 2020 and previously held leadership roles at RSM US LLP and public service positions in Oklahoma.

Research Interests focus on tax policy reform, forensic accounting, fraud detection, and business ethics, particularly within industries like energy and nonprofit sectors. His work addresses legal-tax controversies and managerial accounting challenges.
