David Graham

David Graham is a Lecturer in adult nursing at the University of York, serving as Academic Lead for Clinical Skills and Simulation, Clinical Skills Unit Manager, and Deputy Chair of the Technology Enhanced Learning group. Previously, he worked in critical care nursing with specialized experience in neuro and cardiac intensive care units.

Graham's scholarly output centers on acute care nursing interventions, exemplified by his 2016 publication on pulmonary oedema management which demonstrates clinical-practice translation in critical care contexts.

As an undergraduate Personal Supervisor and Academic Assessor, he mentors nursing students while leading key modules including Biosciences, Knowledge Applied to Nursing Practice (modules 5-6), ECG Interpretation, and Critical Care Nursing.

Through his Clinical Skills Unit leadership, Graham directs simulation-based training facilities and teams that deliver hands-on clinical education across life-support, patient handling, and specialty nursing curricula.
