Roles & Affiliations: David Flude is an Associate Professor and Director of the DBA program at Anglia Ruskin University (ARU), within the Faculty of Business and Law’s School of Management. Previously, he served as Principal Lecturer and Acting Head of the Department of Leadership and Management, overseeing academic operations, budgets, and international partnerships. He is an external examiner at the University of Hertfordshire and a Bramshill Fellowship recipient.

Research Interests: Focuses on collaborative ventures in public sectors (especially Blue Light organizations), corporate/organisational cultures, strategy, and transcultural relativism’s impact on public management. Active in supervising doctoral students in leadership, strategy, and work-based value in public organisations.
Teaching & Consultancy: Delivers corporate strategy and leadership courses across undergraduate/postgraduate programs and designs bespoke international training. Engaged in consultancy projects in Russia, China, Malaysia, and Trinidad. Currently collaborates on the Eastern New Energy decarbonisation program, focusing on fleet decarbonisation.
Media & Awards: Media-trained to comment on public sector strategic issues, particularly policing. Recognized with the Bramshill Fellowship. Active in professional bodies as a Senior Fellow of the HEA, CMI Fellow, and Bramshill External Examiner.
