David Fish

David Fish is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at UMass Chan Medical School Baystate Regional Campus. He earned a BS in Biology from Providence College and an MD from the University of Massachusetts Medical School.

His research focuses on medical education, particularly in areas such as cost-conscious care, goals-of-care communication, and workforce characteristics in hospital medicine. He has published in journals like Journal of General Internal Medicine and Cureus, with recent work analyzing the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on board certification processes and training for medical students.
